Hey there! My name is Douglas, and I’ve been obsessed with sailing since I was a kid. I’ve always dreamed of hitting the open water with my own sailboat, exploring new places and chasing horizons. For years, I saved up every dime I could to make that dream a reality. But then, with the dollar skyrocketing against the Brazilian real, I realized I had to get a bit creative.

That’s when a long-time friend threw out a wild idea: “Why not build your own boat from scratch?” The thought pumped me up! Even though I had zero experience in boat building, my drive to learn and the urge to chase my dream were stronger than ever.

So, I decided to document this crazy journey by making videos on YouTube. I grabbed a little camera and started filming everything—from picking out materials to figuring out all the tools and techniques that I was learning along the way. Building my sailboat turned into more than just a personal mission; it became a way to share my passion with the world.

Before I knew it, my videos started to take off! I got tons of messages from folks who felt inspired by my journey and wanted to tag along for the ride. I poured my heart and soul into every video, aiming to not just teach but entertain and build a community around our love for the sea.
